Learning to entrepreneur in 12 Weeks
Kralendijk, June 13, 2023 – On Thursday, June 1, 2023, Qredits Bonaire awarded certificates to 11 participants who successfully completed the Small Business Academy program in 2023. The aspiring entrepreneurs proudly received their certificates. Qredits Bonaire would like to congratulate the participants once again on successfully completing this course and wishes them much success on their entrepreneurial journey.
During the 12-week Small Business Academy program, instructors Phartuchand Martha and Maideline Hooi-Martijn provided valuable lessons. In addition, various workshops were conducted by instructors Jefferson Rosalia, Reinisha Molina, Janou Troeman, and Miluska Hansen. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bonaire and ENNIA also provided valuable information about legal structures and insurance.

Throughout the Small Business Academy program, various topics related to entrepreneurship are covered. These include developing a mission and vision, personal analysis, market analysis, business idea development, marketing strategies, and appropriate financing. Additionally, participants completed assignments through e-learning to gradually develop their business and financial plans. For the final project, the participants presented their completed plans to a panel of experts, consisting of representatives from Qredits, the Public Entity of Bonaire, and an experienced entrepreneur.
With the Small Business Academy, Qredits aims to encourage entrepreneurship in Bonaire and ensure sustainable economic development. The program provides essential knowledge for any future entrepreneur who wants to prepare well for starting a business. Branch Manager Milagros Blanken had the following words for the participants during the certificate ceremony:
"This is just the beginning. It is now up to you to continuously acquire knowledge and take the necessary actions to further shape, realize, and sustain your business plan. Keep growing and persevering."
